Karaoke Downloads Are Increasing Know Why

One of the more curious aspects of rockabilly is that often times the themes of rockabilly songs tended to be rather silly. In fact, you could almost say that there was an art to taking a goofy theme that might otherwise condemn a song to the category of "novelty song" and making a legitimate rocker out of it. It was almost as if the songwriter was daring the listener to dismiss the song as silly. But the music was so energetic and sincere that these songs could not be shrugged off quite so easily. Here are a few goofy examples that illustrate what I mean.

Arts and Entertainment from EzineArticles.com

Chippendales in New York back in 1990 was entirely different then it is now. Back in the day the dancers looked different and the shows were definitely performed in a more show like production. The male revue New York City scene has morphed into a full free for all direction. Being with Chippendales in New York in the early 1990s was the closest point to being a rock star.

Go, Mary! Go, Mary! Go!
We must admit, we were BLOWN AWAY by Mary Byrne's performance on X Factor Saturday night!
It was a revelation!
Prior to this weekend's show, we appreciated her big voice but we also through it was a bit shrill. However, last night she gave a nuanced and command performance [...]

And here come the Adam Lambert comparisons!

Aiden Grimshaw took on the Tears For Fears classic Mad World on X Factor Saturday night.

But, he really made this song his own!

It was almost a creepy take on the song!

Definitely captivating!

Aiden has something very special about his voice!

We have to agree, though, that he needs to work on being less introverted - but this song suits him quite well.

J. Cole Concert at the Charlottesville Pavilion

It simply wouldn't be Christmas without the carols we all know and love. Playing the piano is a great way to share the songs of the season with family and friends. Luckily, many Christmas carols are easy for beginners to play on the piano. Keep in mind that while these simple carols can be easily self-taught, it is always helpful to enlist the help of a piano instructor. The following three classic carols are an especially good place for the beginning piano player to start.

Yamaha FG700S Acoustic Guitar Review

The post World War II years in America saw an explosion of musical art. The war was over, the boys had come home, and the production prowess of the nation shifted away from the war machine back to the consumer goods that it had originally been set up to pump out. Many of our musician soldiers too returned to their vocation of creating music. Country music, jazz, swing, and other forms of popular music didn't just pick up where they left off, they began thriving and moving in new directions as musicians experimented with musical influences they might have picked up overseas and a new musical freedom that availed itself along with the freedom from war that the country had been longing for. From this new expression, rockabilly sprouted and grew at a phenomenal pace until it was the hottest form of music around.

Steven Soderbergh my bad

It turns out director Steven Soderbergh's life may not be too far from the titles of his films!

The married Sex, Lies, and Videotape filmmaker has admitted to an affair and subsequently A BABY with an Australian woman named Frances Lawrencina Anderson while directing a play down under.

However, he's actually owning up for his actions and has agreed to begin making "reasonable" child support payments.

Soderbergh's baby mama says their fling began in December 2009, while he was in Sydney, Australia, directing a play called Tot Mom.

Okay, so his art really does reflect his life!

In February, the filmmaker acknowledged he'd "engaged in consensual sexual intimacy and as a result thereof the plaintiff became pregnant," but called into question his lover's claims for money, and the extended involvement of attorneys, in the case.

She probably realized she had a baby by you and could therefore be a millionaire! So sad, but true in this day and age.

Their love child, a baby girl named Pearl Button Anderson, was born on August 30, 2010.

Congratulations?

In any case, we're at glad he's taking responsibility and will be taking care of Pearl financially for the rest of her life until she turns 18, but hopefully longer!

Are U surprised by Steven Soderbergh's baby mama drama?

At the Brooklyn Museum: Tipis of the Brooklyn Plains by NF Karlins

Although the roots of Fantasy can be found far back in history, the literary genre itself has only been around for a relatively short period of time. Fantasy as we think of it started small and eventually blossomed through the hard work and contribution of many authors. Today, it has found its way into just about every medium you can imagine, the most popular of which are found in entertainment areas like movies and video games.

Depiction of Gender in Renaissance Art

First off the Ancient Egyptian civilization has fascinated me since I was a young child. I can proudly claim to have more books on this era of history than our local library, books authored by such specialists as Massy, Shaw or Redford. I will first identify and provide some information on the image in question. The bust in question is that of Queen Tiye of Egypt often referred to as the Cat Goddess. Queen Tiye was the mother of Akhenaten and Amenhotep IV. She was eventually to become the grandmother of one of ancient Egypt's most popular and most known pharaohs, King Tut.
