While their split was said to be amicable, we've just learned that it was actually Kyle Howard's decision to end thing with Lauren Conrad. Reportedly, Kyle took issue with LC's reality show fame, fearing it would conflict with his big career plans. A source explains:

"He saw the relationship as distracting from his goal of being the next Robert De Niro. He wasn't supportive of her career."

Huh! At least she had one! The next Bobby De Niro, you say? Maybe then you shoudn't have made a career on TELEVISION? BTW - at lease people watch Lauren's shows!!!

That seems harsh, but trust us, we're holding back, especially since we've learned that Lauren isn't taking the break up do well. Apparently, she had planned on a life with his man, marriage and kids and all that. Now, she's simply "heartbroken" and isn't sure where to go from here!

SAD!!! Girl, forget him! There is someone out there for you that isn't going to break your heart, smash your dreams or judge your career. Go out and find him ... and ask him if he has a brother!

OK … so take this post with a huge grain of salt … but after going back and forth for a bit, I’ve decided to post the audio of an alleged leaked Britney Spears demo titled Black Widow. There are part of the track that kinda sound like Britney, others that do not. Take a listen and see what you think.

There are comments for this video on You Tube that claim the vocals actually belong to Myah Marie. To be honest, I doubt A.) that Britney‘s people would be so careless as to let a demo like this leak so soon before the album’s release and B.) the song would still be on You Tube if it were a genuine Britney demo. Yesterday was a very fun, very full day. Yesterday afternoon, after Sarah, David and I ran around taking care of a few errands, we met up with Mark and made our way to downtown Royal Oak, MI for lunch at my fave sushi restaurant in the world — Little Tree. After we supped until we were stuffed, we hung out for a bit on Main St. and did a big of shopping at Incognito. Yesterday evening, we got to hang out with Tracey and my goddaughter Zakiya who is growing into a brilliant young lady. Last night, Sarah hosted a small get together of friends … ’twas a very, very fun day.

These are just some of the photos that I took with Princess Zakiya. It’s insane to me how much she grows every time I see her. The girl can already read and write better than David! That’s my girl. After Z had to run off to a sleep over, the real party got underway. Reggie, Tara, Agnes, Mike G., Sherri and her son Kyle came over to hang out … which meant we hovered around the dinner table eating, talking and sharing embarrassing stories. The party may not have been one of our usual ragers but it was a lot of fun. It’s always so nice to come home to Detroit and reconnect with my loved ones here. I seriously know the best people in the world … and I love them all :)

This afternoon, David and I are taking my parents out for Father’s Day Brunch before we return home to SoCal later tonight. My Detroit trips are always so short but they are always very, very fun. I hope all y’all are having a GREAT FATHER’S DAY today!!! Happy Sunday!!

Yesterday turned out to be a really fun day, one that really saved my entire weekend. David and I made our way downtown to meet up with our dear friends Irene, Ollie and Caleb for brunch at Bottega Louie and then for a hang session at Ollie and Caleb’s place. Then we met up with our BFF Josh in West Hollywood for food and drink at The Hudson. Let me tell you, if you’re looking for a perfect way to spend the weekend … hang out with your friends and I guarantee you’ll have a blast!

The weather outside was just so perfect … it really helped make the day special and fun. Naturally, photos had to be taken so …

Tonight David and I have been invited by our good friend Joe Zee to attend an Elle magazine soirée tonight that will feature performances by Robyn and Solange Knowles. We LOVE Joe and haven’t seen in him ages so it’ll be fun to hang out with him tonight. I hope your Mondays are going well … it’s a new week … let’s make it a good one!
